Know someone who deserves a visit from the Orchestra of Chaos?
Funny Things own festival band Orchestra of Chaos want funny stories from residents across Wolverhampton and they are coming to a café, chip shop, street corner or hairdressers near you.
The Orchestra of Chaos (OOC), featuring Barry Bling from the Black Country on his Yamyamha Keyboard and Mr Velvet on miniature drums, will be performing throughout the festival as well as representing Funny Things on the road in their Bling Machine tour bus to bring the Funny Things Comedy Festival experience to residents doorsteps.
Residents of the city can make sure they pop up in their neighbourhood by nominating a person and place for the OOC to visit on their Funny Things Black Country Tour.
Friends and family are wanted to share their wacky stories and experiences; the more unusual reason the better. It could be a birthday surprise, a thank you to someone at work, or simply someone who deserves a good laugh. The band can visit offices, shops, living rooms, factories, canal boats, hairdressers – anywhere you can think of. Anytime, anyplace, they will be there with extra Bling.
How to get Orchestra Of Chaos to come to you…
Send your idea with a funny story about the person or event and most importantly why they should pick you? If you’re successful the Orchestra of Chaos will roll up in their tour van and bring a Chaos performance direct to you or your nominee.
Email: email@example.com with your proposal by 18th October, with ‘Orchestra of Chaos’ in the title.
This offer is only available for the borough of Wolverhampton (although they are willing to bring the chaos out to other parts of the black country if your proposal is tempting and crazy enough). There will only be four visits available and time slots will vary during the Funny Things Festival from 23rd October – 5th November 2017. Please state the best dates and times for you and they’ll do their best to work that into their tour if your nomination is chosen.
The band will be joined by the glamorous Blingettes ‘Press Gang’ for additional chaos, who will be collecting your funny stories and photos on their travels, for a digital live social media zine. Your stories could also appear in the band’s Festival Finale performance on 5th November at the Slade Rooms, which you’re invited to attend. Expect much singing, dancing, comedy capers galore, laughter and plenty of audience participation with a sprinkling of chaos guaranteed.
